Y-27-z is my fanfic title. And Yazoo's real "name" too.
His soft spot there is total lack of emotions. It doesn't mean he has blank face 24\7, but it's never going to be neither total happines with hugs nor screaming at someone in rage. In fact, bright expression of any kind is more a trauma than progress. It will always be something inadequate, like laughing for 5 minutes for no reason, frenzy or crying for half an hour into Tifa's tits. Or having a weird flight through a helicopter with psycho face. He doesn't like any of it as he loses controll over emotions and doesn't want anyone dealing with it or show his weakness to enemy. He see any expressive person annoying. Including Reno, but oh well Reno is allowed to be expressive. Reno is an exeption in any rule XDDD
Yazoo remind me of Drive's main character.
Imagine yourself watching your brother slowly going crazy with hysteria and lunacy, imagine yourself being unable to help his nightmares and posession. Every day. That's how Yazoo see Kadaj. Imagine yourself dealing with eternal cryings for smallest reasons and that's how Yazoo see Loz. Guess, that answers many questions.
Despite this he loved both brothers and miss them a lot, but unlike Cloud Yazoo isn't a whiny pussy to depress for two years :3
Kadaj used to blame Yazoo for never caring about anything. Yazoo couldn't explain he does care a lot but not in the way most people used to. He can make you some tea, present that book you dreamed of, allow you doing something what he find quite annoying (like music or singing. He hates both). Instead of breaking your face for smoking too close he stay calm like he doesn't mention it at all. That's how it work.
He does care when he wakes up at night checking Kadaj isn't lunacing to make sure no one fall on the floor smashing his nose. He does care when he stay in a bed with Loz because brother is afraid of monster under his bed. It's more about actions, not words.
He isn't perfect and still teases Loz for fun and actually doing nothing to change the situation. He prefere making few mental walls and stay shut in his comfort zone. He's a huge dick too, don't forget it XD
He isn't insane, though. That's important. He has no suicidal tendency and slightly depressive mood is something he used to. At the same time he see his emotional state a bit...abnormal and has a great respect for those who doesn't mind it.
It's kinda hard to get his respect, but once you're a friend, you're a friend no matter what.
He make fun of himself sometimes. Like on this picture...
His temper is a great challange for me lol. I'm kinda impulsive and hyperemotional. And loud. No, I don't wanna be like him XD
